What is a math trail?
A math trail is an activity where people go into their community to reveal examples of mathematics. These activities promote the idea of thinking like a mathematician and appreciating what is in the community. For Teachers: Math trail activities support the connections, problem solving, and communication strands of the NCTM standards (NCTM 2000). They also support the modeling standard of the Common Core Standards.
